Here's What I Made
My health kept me away for a bit.
And I’m not sure what the future holds, but while I have the energy to move forward, forward I shall move.
I’ve shared two posts this past week:
Holding the Bloodstone. I was able to complete my 30-day commitment to paying attention. I learned much during the practice. I will keep the bloodstone with me.
My reflection on character motivation and narrative paths was nearly complete before I had to step away, but I managed to touch it up and finally post it: Showing Character.
While I was resting, I realized the most recent set of four essays were all circling the same question:
how does character become story?
Although each of the essays have been published on Substack, I’ve gathered them into a short guide—a quiet attempt to follow that question a little further.
