Interesting. I can't say I approve of infusing a single malt scotch, but I'll let that slide in your case, lol. (But oddly, the idea of mixing (certain) single malts doesn't bother me at all.)

Ben, I can assure that I was most reluctant to mix such fine whiskies, but tasting them each separately certainly made me wonder 'what if?' I'm happy I experimented ... the taste still lingers. You contribute to my delight with the recommendation of Calvados. (It's on my list.) As for applejack ... I can only think of some of the sweet, sweet spirit concoctions more reminiscent of my previous batches, but this time I was looking for something a little more sophisticated. Alas, my Signal & Solstice will likely be unrepeated, as it was a rather unprecedented investment for little ol' me. LOL
