So true ... but what do we do other than follow our writing hearts? And speaking of your projects ... I would so love to read the full volume of your Implicate Orders ... it's the kind of deep reading that I really love but need to digest more fully. Just sayin... :-)
Thanks! It's still in progress: all outlined and I know where I am headed but I am still finishing up the first draft of Part II chapters right now.
However... On Friday I will be releasing kindle and epub versions of Part I, so you can read all of Part I as a set.
Each Part of Implicate Orders tells a complete story with a largely unique set of characters — almost like a season of an anthology series. Some threads will connect across the arcs, and weave a larger arc across all five Parts in doing so. But each Part can binged over a weekend as if it were a season of tv.
You'll get an email on Friday with links to the free epub and the 99c kindle.
Your words are kind and appreciated. Just keep in mind I'm on 'old woman' by most standards--especially my sons'-- and I write deep (or 'slow', some may say), but we'll get there.
Funny how writing projects always seem to expand from a single kernel into a much larger project. Mine always tend to get over ambitious very quickly.
