Being child number 5 of 6 means I feel no guilt when I sit and read, knit, write or watch TV.

I can identify with these feelings. As an oldest child, the responsible one, I struggle with that same guilt when I try to enjoy something for myself. I'm working on unlearning, too.

The afghan is beautiful so far. I bet you'll finish it eventually! But even if you don't, it's good that it's there for you when you need it.

My water view after a storm dropped 4 trees. I hate to see trees go, but I now see more of the lake.

A gorgeous and serene view. Sometimes we just have to appreciate that Mother Nature and her storms know best --- remind me I said that when a hurricane tears off my roof. :-).
